The online examination for the Common Recruitment Process for RRBs (CRP RRBs VIII) for recruitment of Group “A”-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistant (Multipurpose) will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively between August and October 2019. The interviews for recruitment of Group “A”- Officers (Scale-I, II & III) under the same process will be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with appropriate authority tentatively in the month of November 2019.

The IBPS RRB 2019 Notification for the posts of Officers Scale I, II, III and Office Assistants has been released by IBPS in the month of June. Any eligible candidate, who aspires to join any of the Regional Rural Banks listed at (A) as Group “A”-Officers (Scale- I, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistant (Multipurpose), is required to register for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP for RRBs-VIII). For the posts of Officers Scale I and Office Assistant (Multi-purpose) the examination will be two tier i.e. the online examination will be held in two phases, preliminary and main. Candidates who apply for the post of Office Assistant (Multi-purpose) will be provisionally allotted on the basis of the marks obtained by them in the Main examination and the vacancies reported by the RRBs. For the post of Officers Scale I, candidates who will qualify in preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Main examination and shortlisted candidates in the main examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with appropriate authority. Candidates who apply for Scale II (Generalist and Specialists) and Scale III will appear for a single online examination and shortlisted candidates in the single examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with appropriate authority. Depending on the vacancies as per the business needs of the Regional Rural Banks and as reported to IBPS, candidates shortlisted will be provisionally allotted to one of the Regional Rural Banks keeping in view the merit cum preference (state wise for Officers in Scale I and Office Assistant (Multipurpose)), the spirit of Govt. Guidelines on reservation policy, administrative convenience, etc. The validity for CRP for RRBs-VIII will automatically expire at the close of business on the day which is one year after the date of Provisional Allotment or until a fresh provisional allotment is made, whichever is earlier, with or without giving any notice.

IBPS RRB 2019 Notification will be released for IBPS RRB Office Assistant (Multi-purpose) 2019 and IBPS RRB Officer 2019.

IBPS RRB is conducted every year for selection to the post of both IBPS RRB Assistant (Multi-purpose) and IBPS RRB Officer Cadre(Scale- I, II & III)  in Regional Rural Banks of the country.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR IBPS RRB 2019 :
Nationality / Citizenship:
A candidate must be either -
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Age Limit FOR IBPS RRB 2019 (As on 01.06.2019) :

For IBPS RRB Officer Scale - I (Assistant Manager) - Above 18 years - Below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born  earlier than 03.06.1989 and  later than 31.05. 2001 (both dates inclusive)

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE IBPS RRB 2019 (as on the last date of Online Registration i.e. 4.07.2019)

IBPS RRB Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager) : i) Bachelors degree in any discipline  from a recognized University or its equivalent .
Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture,
Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture,
Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy;
ii) Proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRB/s
iii. Desirable: working knowledge of Computer.

HOW TO APPLY IBPS RRB 2019 Application Form :
 
A candidate can apply for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and can also apply for the Post of Officer. However a candidate can apply for only one post in officer’s cadre i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III.

Candidates have to apply separately and pay fees / intimation charges separately for each post.
Candidates can apply online only from 18.06.2019 to 4.07.2019 and no other mode of application will be accepted.

Pre-Requisites for Applying Online

Before applying online, candidates should—

(i) scan their photograph and signature ensuring that both the photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm) and signature adhere to the required specifications as given in Annexure III to this Advertisement.

(ii) Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS will NOT be accepted.

(iii) Keep the necessary details/documents ready to make Online Payment of the requisite application fee/ intimation charges

(iv) have a valid personal email ID, which should be kept active till the declaration of results of this round of CRP. IBPS may send call letters for the Examination etc. through the registered e-mail ID. Under no circumstances, a candidate should share with/mention e-mail ID to / of any other person. In case a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID before applying on-line and must maintain that email account.

EXAMINATION CENTERS for IBPS RRB 2019 :

1.The examination will be conducted online in venues across many centres in India. The tentative list of Examination centres for the Preliminary exams and Main / Single exams is available in Annexure II.

2. No request for change of centre for Examination shall be entertained.

3. IBPS, however, reserves the right to cancel any of the Examination Centres and/ or add some other Centres, at its discretion, depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, etc.

4. IBPS also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any centre other than the one he/she has opted for.

5. Candidate will appear for the examination at an Examination Centre at his/her own risk and expenses and IBPS will not be responsible for any injury or losses etc. of any nature.

6. Any unruly behaviour/misbehaviour in the examination hall may result in cancellation of candidature/ disqualification from this exam and also from the future exams conducted by IBPS.
